Frequently Asked Questions
How much experience do you have?
Photography has always been my passion. I started formal training in 2010 and started my studio in 2012.
How many images will I receive?
Typically, Studio Photography shoots will give you 30 edited images. On location/destination shoots – 15 – 20 edited images per hour. Event photography produces 20-25 edited images per hour.
What should I wear?
Ultimately, you should feel comfortable but here are a couple of guidelines to follow:
Try to wear colours that don’t clash, but rather colours which would work together;
We want the focus to be on you and not your clothing. Therefore, small patterns and logos should be avoided. Solid colours are always a better option.
Comfortable footwear should also be considered for outdoor shoots.
We do have a variety of maternity wear available but you are welcome to bring your own outfits.
Do I need a professional make-up artist?
Professional make-up for photography is different to day-to-day make-up. I always feel, that if you decide to do a photo shoot, why not go all the way to look and feel like a super star?
Whether you want a natural or a more dramatic/glamorous look, professional make-up will enhance your beauty.
What if I am camera shy?
I have the knowledge and experience on how to pose you and make you feel comfortable. With the techniques I apply together with the technology at my disposal, you will be able to instantaneously view images as we progress through the shoot.
This always makes the confidence grow in leaps and bounds.
Are you able to remove skin imperfections?
As we view the unedited images together, you are most welcome to point out what you would like me to remove during post processing.
How and when will I receive my photos?
Photographs are given in digital format (jpeg). For your convenience I supply your images in two folders:
- Web – for easy upload on your social media platforms.
- Full Size – for printing purposes up to A2 without any pixilation.
We offer two delivery options:
- Dropbox
- USB
Depending on the type of shoot and number of images, delivery is between two and eight weeks and will be discussed prior shoot.
